CAUNUS AND DALYAN TOUR - FULL DAY

Dalyan, well known as the location of an international effort to protect the loggerhead turtle breeding ground, serves as the departure point - by boat - for ancient Caunus.
Highlights - rock cut tombs (fourth century B. C.) visible upon approach, acropolis with imposing Hellenistic fortifications at the summit and Medieval walls below, Roman baths and theater, outlying Hellenistic defensive lines with towers still standing (L).
