69th anniversary of the passing away of Turkey’s great leader, Ataturk

President Abdullah Gul and representatives of the state visited Ataturk’s mausoleum and wreath- laying ceremony was held at Anitkabir. All the military officers and non-commissioned officers of Ankara garrison were present at the ceremony as well.

At 09:05am, another ceremony and moment of silence was held at Dolmabahce Palace, in the room where Ataturk passed away.
